INTRODUCTION
Thermoelectric cooling module (TECM) accomplishes the cooling action according to the Peltier effect theory and utilizes the thermoelectric effect of semiconductor material. Reversing its current direction can change the heat flow direction of TECM and its cooling power can be adjusted by changing its operating current.
TECM is a kind of solid-state of thermal energy pump, because of its light weight, small size and fast reaction, it is very suitable to be used in the cooling devices which are limited by space. Because of its low noise, shatter proof shock resistance, long life and easy maintenance, it can also be used in the other special fields.
The thermoelectric refrigeration is a complement to the compression refrigeration, and is widely used in many fields such as military, aviation, aerospace, medical treatment, epidemic prevention, experimental apparatus, and consumer products. For the applications where not so big temperature difference is required (about 20deg. C lower than the ambient temperature) or where very high cooling power is not necessary (tens of watts to hundreds of watts), the thermoelectric refrigeration can partially replace the compression refrigeration.
CHARACTERISTICS
High reliability and long life
The cooling materials of TECM are connected to the copper conductor tab by two shielding layers. Thus they can effectively avoid the diffusion of copper and other harmful elements, which enable TECMs to have longer use life. The life of TECM can reach 300 thousand hours and more, and can stand the shock of the frequent change of current direction.
Operation under high temperature
The highest temperature of these soldering materials can stand the temperature as high as 125deg. C, 150deg. C, 200deg. C and 300deg. C, which are much higher than the standard of 70deg. C.
Perfect moisture protection
Every TECM has been subject to moisture protection treatment, which is made in vacuum and with silicon coating. Thus it can effectively prevent water and moisture from entering the inside of TECM.
Various specifications
We can produce various specifications of TECM with the current ranging from 2A to 24A and the cooling power is more 200 W. In addition, we can also produce other specifications of cooling module according to the special requirement of customers. And we have successfully developed the double-stage high-power cooling modules with the temperature difference of more than 90deg. C, with the cooling power of tens of watts. And modules with low internal resistance (0.03-^- min) it has developed and suitable for thermoelectric generation.
